OBDF 110 Assignment #3 - Remix Culture Refined

I decided to refine this object because I thought it had promising elements that could have been expanded upon further. I decided to really push the horror aspects and try to create something the vain of old horror style anime. I feel like it represents either a symbol or place from another world. The animals contrast the horror elements and represent a different energy which I thought helped balance out the design of the object. This object represents key elements of remix culture, by reusing classic horror designs to create a new idea that attempts to verge in the same vein of cosmic monstrosity. By mixing the face-hugger from Alien, with the classic symbol of death (a skull) - with robotic legs protruding through the eyeholes that are holding robotic Rhinoceros eyes that are bleeding battery acid.

All these seemingly disconnected elements come together to create symbolic imagery that is almost demonic in a way.
